B2B FAQ & Terms

This information primarily applies to Pure Waste stock garments, B2B sales and custom branding of stock products.

Private label production prices, minimum order quantities, delivery terms and other project-specific conditions are confirmed separately in the relevant quotation.

Orders and enquiries: sales@purewaste.live

What information do you need to process an order?

For a quotation and order, we may need the following information:

  • products you wish to order
  • size and colour breakdown
  • quantities
  • billing details of the company being invoiced
  • delivery address
  • contact details of the contact person
  • recipient's contact details if the recipient is different from the person placing the order
  • print, embroidery or other branding artwork where applicable
  • requested branding size and placement
  • requested delivery date, if applicable.

The sooner we receive all required information and production-ready artwork, the sooner we can confirm the price and delivery schedule.

When is an order confirmed?

The products, quantities, prices, branding, delivery schedule and delivery terms are confirmed in our quotation or order confirmation.

A quotation accepted by the customer or another written order confirmation forms the basis of the order.

If there is a discrepancy between the customer's artwork, order list or other instructions and the approved order confirmation, the matter should be clarified before production begins.

Can I change a confirmed order?

Contact sales@purewaste.live as soon as possible if you need to make changes.

Once branding or production has started, changes may no longer be possible and may result in additional costs.

Any changes must be confirmed separately in writing.

Can I cancel an order?

Cancellation of a confirmed B2B order must be agreed with Pure Waste.

If products have already been reserved, purchased, branded or manufactured for the order, or if other work has already started, cancellation may result in costs.

Any cancellation costs will depend on the status of the order and the costs already incurred.

The statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to B2B orders.

Can I order fitting or sample garments?

Fitting and sample garments may be supplied before the main order where required.

Contact sales@purewaste.live and we will confirm availability, pricing and any applicable return conditions.

Orders for samples placed through the online store in the name of a company do not automatically qualify for the return rights applicable to consumer purchases.

How are B2B products priced?

B2B prices are generally quoted excluding VAT.

For domestic sales in Finland, the applicable VAT is added to the price. The standard VAT rate currently applicable to clothing and most of our other products is 25.5%.

The VAT treatment of international B2B sales depends on factors including the delivery country, the customer's VAT registration and the applicable tax rules.

Unit pricing may depend on the total order quantity.

The final price is always confirmed in the quotation.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order quantity depends on the product and implementation.

For branded stock garments, such as screen-printed or embroidered products, the minimum order is generally 50 pieces per design or implementation.

For smaller quantities, contact sales@purewaste.live. Depending on the project, a suitable solution may be available using digital printing methods such as DTF or DTG.

Unbranded products can also be purchased through the Pure Waste online store.

Private label production has separate minimum order quantities, which are confirmed as part of the private label quotation.Embroidery is a possibility and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

What branding options do you offer?

Depending on the product and project, stock garments can be customised using methods such as:

  • screen printing
  • DTF or DTG digital printing
  • embroidery.

The most suitable method depends on the product, order quantity, artwork, number of colours and desired result.

What type of artwork do you need?

For the best result, we recommend artwork supplied as a vector file at a suitable scale.

If vector artwork is not available, sufficiently high-resolution bitmap artwork may be usable depending on the project.

Recommended file types and specifications include:

  • vector files such as PDF, AI or EPS
  • high-resolution TIFF, PNG or JPG where appropriate
  • PMS/Pantone colour specifications when an accurate print colour is important
  • alternatively, CMYK colour specifications.

Text and other printable elements should preferably be converted to vectors, or the necessary font information should be supplied so that the artwork can be processed correctly.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that they have the right to use any logos, images, text, fonts or other material supplied to Pure Waste.

How are print size and placement determined?

The maximum printable area depends on the garment and printing method.

For screen printing, the theoretical maximum print size can be approximately 40 × 45 cm, but the construction and size of the garment may limit the usable area.

Typical guidelines include:

  • chest or back print on an adult shirt: approximately 30 cm wide is generally suitable for several sizes
  • a smaller width is normally required for children's garments
  • small chest print: typically approximately 10–15 cm wide
  • sleeve print: typically up to approximately 10 cm wide
  • printing directly over seams is generally not possible, and sufficient distance from seams is required.

The final size and placement are always confirmed based on the specific garment and artwork.

How accurately can print size and placement be reproduced?

Textiles and printing processes involve normal production variation.

Unless otherwise agreed, approximately ±5 mm variation in print size and placement may occur.

If your project requires tighter tolerances, this must be agreed separately before the order is confirmed.

Can branding involve additional costs?

Additional costs may arise from, for example:

  • screen-printing setup
  • multiple print colours
  • underbase printing on dark garments
  • colour changes
  • unusually large prints
  • special or effect colours
  • urgent production
  • physical samples.

As printing-house prices and production methods may change, all branding costs are confirmed in the current quotation.

Will I receive a print sample before production?

Where applicable, we provide at least a digital mock-up or another approval proof before production.

For larger or technically demanding orders, a physical print sample may also be agreed separately.

The cost of physical samples is confirmed in the quotation.

Production begins based on the approved artwork or proof.

Do stock garments include Pure Waste branding?

Stock garments may include Pure Waste neck branding, product labels and other product-specific markings.

If you require garments without standard Pure Waste branding or with fully customised labels and details, please contact us regarding private label production.

Do you offer embroidery?

Yes.

Embroidery pricing and technical feasibility are evaluated based on the artwork, size, stitch count, garment and order quantity.

What is the delivery time?

Unbranded products that are in stock are normally dispatched within a few business days after the order has been confirmed.

Production of branded stock garments normally takes approximately two weeks after we have received:

  • the confirmed order
  • all necessary product information
  • approved, production-ready artwork.

Transport time is added to the production time.

The delivery schedule is always confirmed for each order.

Busy periods, large order quantities, special implementations or temporary stock shortages may extend the delivery time.

How are orders delivered?

The delivery method is selected based on the size of the order, destination, schedule and other requirements.

We use postal and courier services as appropriate.

Delivery costs are confirmed in the quotation or order confirmation.

Which delivery terms apply?

The applicable delivery term is confirmed for each order in the quotation or order confirmation.

Depending on the origin and delivery arrangement, an appropriate Incoterms rule such as EXW, FCA or FOB may be used.

The delivery term stated in the quotation or order confirmation takes precedence.

What happens if the product I need is out of stock?

Some products are manufactured in limited batches and may not be replenished.

Core Classics products are normally replenished, although individual colours or sizes may temporarily be unavailable.

Restocking may take from a few weeks to longer depending on production and transport circumstances.

For current availability, contact sales@purewaste.live.

Where can I find product material information?

Material composition is specified by product.

The same material composition or certification status should not automatically be assumed to apply to every Pure Waste product.

Where available, we can provide technical and material information relevant to the product and project as part of the quotation process.

Are all B2B products GRS-certified?

Not automatically.

A GRS scope certificate shows that a specified organisation and activities are included within the certification system. It does not by itself demonstrate that every product or delivery is GRS-certified.

A product- or shipment-specific GRS claim requires documentation supporting the relevant goods and certification chain.

If your project requires a particular certification or Transaction Certificate documentation, please inform us when requesting a quotation.

Can I use Pure Waste environmental impact figures in my own communications?

Please contact sales@purewaste.live before using Pure Waste impact figures in your own marketing or communications.

Pure Waste's historical water-use and carbon-footprint figures are based on an LCA assessment of a specific 200 g T-shirt made from 60% mechanically recycled cotton and 40% recycled polyester.

These figures should not automatically be presented as product-specific impact figures for every B2B garment or project.

We can help identify which data and supporting documentation apply to the specific product or project.

What should I do if there is a problem with my order?

Check the quantity, products and any branding as soon as reasonably possible after receiving the delivery.

If you notice an error or defect, contact sales@purewaste.live as soon as possible and provide:

  • order number
  • affected product and quantity
  • description of the issue
  • photographs where they help us assess the problem.

Where reasonably possible, do not distribute or put products that may be defective into use before we have assessed the issue.

Some printing defects may be correctable without producing entirely new garments.

If correction is not possible and the claim is accepted, we will agree on an appropriate remedy.

What production tolerances apply to textile products?

Textile and printed products are not absolutely dimensionally identical industrial components.

Small production variations may occur in:

  • fabric and garment measurements
  • print positioning
  • print appearance
  • other characteristics inherent to textile production.

Claims are assessed in relation to factors including:

  • the approved order confirmation
  • the approved artwork or proof
  • specified measurements and tolerances
  • normal material and production variation.

Why can small coloured fibres sometimes be visible in light recycled fabrics?

Recycled textile materials may show small variations in shade, surface, or visible fibres.

Small contrasting fibres can sometimes be visible in light-coloured materials. This can be a normal characteristic of mechanically recycled textile material.

Any significant variation is nevertheless assessed case by case against the approved product specification and normal product quality.

What payment methods are available for B2B customers?

Depending on the quotation and customer relationship, B2B orders may be paid by methods including:

  • invoice
  • advance payment.

For orders placed through the online store, the available payment methods are shown at checkout.

What are the payment terms?

Unless otherwise stated in the quotation or order confirmation, our standard payment term is 14 days net.

For new customers, international customers or certain types of orders, we may require advance payment or another separately agreed payment arrangement.

What happens if payment is late?

For overdue payments, we charge the statutory late-payment interest applicable to commercial contracts in force at the relevant time, together with any legally permitted collection costs.

This means the applicable interest rate follows current legislation rather than a permanently fixed percentage stated on this page.

Who do these terms apply to?

These terms apply to B2B orders between Pure Waste Textiles Oy and a company, organisation or other customer acting for business purposes, unless otherwise agreed in the quotation or another written agreement.

Consumer online-store terms and statutory consumer rights do not apply to B2B purchases in the same way as they apply to consumer purchases.

Which document takes precedence if there is a conflict?

If there is a conflict between these general B2B terms and a quotation, order confirmation or separate written agreement provided for a specific order, the order-specific written agreement or order confirmation takes precedence.

Customer responsibility for approved information

Before production begins, the customer is responsible for approving and checking information including:

  • products
  • quantities
  • sizes and colours
  • branding artwork
  • print content
  • placement
  • delivery information
  • billing information.

Pure Waste is not responsible for an error resulting from incorrect information or artwork supplied or approved by the customer, unless Pure Waste should reasonably have identified the error before production.

Intellectual property rights

The customer is responsible for ensuring that it has the necessary rights to any logos, trademarks, images, fonts, text or other material supplied to Pure Waste.

Pure Waste may refuse to produce content that it reasonably believes would violate applicable law or a third party's rights.

Force majeure and delays

Pure Waste is not liable for delay to the extent that it is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control that we could not reasonably have anticipated or avoided.

These may include, for example:

  • major transport disruptions
  • strikes
  • governmental restrictions
  • exceptional production or logistics disruptions.

We will inform the customer of a material delay as soon as reasonably possible.

Applicable law and dispute resolution

B2B orders are governed by Finnish law, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any dispute should first be resolved through negotiations between the parties.

If no settlement can be reached, the dispute will be resolved by the District Court of Helsinki, unless another competent court or dispute-resolution procedure has been agreed for the specific order.
